The development of qualified coaches at all levels is vital to the promotion of Netball within the county. The new UKCC coaching qualifications (starting at Level 1) are part of the pathway for the development of coaches.

UKCC Level 1 coaching course
A UKCC Level 1 coaching course has been organised by England Netball for 21st, 22nd February and 21st March 2009 (all three dates are part of the course). The course will be held at Hartbury College.

Grants for Coaching Awards
There are grants available from a range of sources within local, district, county councils and the Schools Sports Partnership for coaching awards.
Gloucestershire Netball also offer funding for the UKCC coaching awards scheme.
