Eye to Eye coaching workshop at the University of Gloucestershire

The chance to work with top coaches Anita Navin and Denise Egan at a coaches' workshop based around the Wales v Malawi friendly match - preparation for the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, at the University of Gloucestershire on Monday 7th July.

SUCCESSFUL OBSERVATION IS KEY TO COACHING - Game principles and counteracting the opponents in a variety of scenarios will be the focus. The workshop will include tutoring pre, during and after the practice match

 

 

 

International Netball in Gloucester!

The University of Gloucestershire are hosting the Malawi Netball squad ahead of the Commonweatlh Games, and are excited to announce that there will be a warm-up fixture between England and Malawi on Saturday 5th July at GL1, Gloucester on Sat 5th July starting at 2.30pm. Tickets are £5 each - see attached flyer for further details.

 

Netball Youth Camps - Bookings now open!

Netball Youth Camps

England Netball are excited to announce the launch of their Netball Youth Camps this summer. When they spoke to junior netballers they said they wanted more opportunities to play netball during the summer holidays, so England Netball have designed these camps to do just that!

The camps are non-residential holiday camps designed for 9-11 year olds or 11-16 year olds providing 'Nothing but Netball'; including top quality coaching, fun netball activities and even an opportunity to meet and be inspired by an England player. If you are a junior netball lover (or the parent of one!) these are an unmissable summer holiday activity!

There will be more than 20 camps across the country.

Marion Smith Netball Championships

England Netball are pleased to announce that entry forms for The Marion Smith Netball Championships for People with a Learning Disability are now available.

The Championships once again return to the fantastic Soar Valley College in Leicester on Saturday 7th June. This competition is always one of the most rewarding of the season and always inspires with amazing demonstrations of teamwork and commitment by all teams.

This year England Netball would like to offer every participant the opportunity to enter a competition to design an image to appear on the front of an event t-shirt, given to every participating player.

Gloucestershire's Hucclecote netballers take to the road to support Carly Taylor

8 Premier Hucclecote netballers and 3 young men are currently cycling from London for Paris in 24 hours to raise money for Carly Taylor.

Carly, a former netballer at Hucclecote Netball Club had a tragic accident which left her in a wheelchair. Carly and her fiancé Nelly are getting married this year and Carly wants to walk down the aisle with a special walking aid.

Neala Brennan dreamed up the challenge to raise funds for a special walking aid. Neala and Sam Perry booked the ferry, Eurostar and hotel. Michelle Dowle helped sort the fundraising page and the secured the support vehicle.
