Umpire Expenses

Gloucestershire Netball recommends the following umpire expenses structure for the 2010-11 season:-

• C+ Award or higher - £15 per match
• C Award - £12.50 per match
• Beginner Award - £10.00 per match

Central Venue teams should expect to pay these fees, unless an umpire declines payment.

Umpires are also entitled to claim travelling expenses for match, which should be agreed with the club providing the umpire ahead of the fixture. Clubs can pay a higher fee to umpires should they wish, but this should be agreed with the umpire ahead of the fixture.

Umpires are reminded that any income gained as a result of umpiring is liable to UK taxation, and that each individual umpire is responsible for declaring this income to HMRC.
