About the County

The Gloucestershire County Netball Association (GCNA) was first set up in 1956, with the aim of setting up a formal structure for netball competition within the county.

We administer netball in Cheltenham, Gloucester, Cirencester, Stroud, Tewkesbury, The Forest and surrounding areas.

Old Chelts looking for new players

Old Chelts Netball Club are currently looking for players covering all abilities and positions.


We are a friendly and sociable club.  We have teams in Prem. (playing at Oxstalls Sports Park) and Div. 3 (playing at LeisureAt).  Training sessions are on a Tuesday evening, 6.15pm-8pm, at Cheltenham College, with an experienced qualified coach.

New A Award Umpire

Congratulations to Jenna Culley who gainer her Netball Europe A Award Umpire qualification today.

Jenna is an active umpire and coach within both Gloucestershire county and the wider region, she is Director of Netball at Millfield School and has a number of coaching roles within Welsh Netball and Severn Stars. Having achieved B Award level as recently as 2016, Jenna has made great progress within her past two years of officiating. She now joins a cohort of three A Award umpires, eighteen B Award umpires, one retired A Award mentor and one retired B Award mentor based within the county.

We would like to wish Jenna continued success in her umpiring and coaching development.
