Bateman and Per Ardua Fast5 tournament results

BC Fillies winners of Fast 5 tournament

To round off the league season a Fast 5 tournament was held on Saturday 6th April at Leisure@ in Cheltenham.  Each game was 4 quarters of 6 minutes - and with different scoring zones for 1 point, 2 points or the Super Shot of 3 points. Teams selected one of the quarters in each match for their Power Play where all points scored were doubled, and rolling substitutions could be made at any time.

Seven teams entered and played in a round robin format. The modifed scoring rules meant that the lead could change quickly and all teams were in with a chance of success.

Overall winners were BC Fillies with Severn Stars finishing as runners up.

This year, because we were not able to hold the Bateman competition, the winners will receive the Bateman Shield and the runners-up wil be awarded the Per Ardua trophy.

The final placings are attached here.
