County League
The County League is our main adult competition and was established in 1972. This year the season runs from September 2011 - April 2012 and matches are played on Saturdays.
In an attempt to increase the competitiveness within our top divisions, starting with the 2011/12 season we have merged our old second and third tier divisions and created a new Premier Division.
League structure
Our current league contains seven divisions:
- Premier Division
- Division 1 Red and Division 1 Blue (these are the same level)
- Division 2
- Division 3
- Division 4
- Division 5
The top three divisions play indoors at a central venue.
There will be play-offs between the top teams from Division 1 Red and Division 1 Blue and the bottom teams from the Premier Division to decide on placings for the 2012/13 season.
At the end of the season, the top team in the Premier Division will be eligible to enter the Regional League play-offs to qualify for the Netball South West Regional League 2.
Results submission
In line with the new League Rules, teams are required to submit results:
- Online, by 18:00 on the Monday following the fixture, AND
- By Result Sheet, received by post within 7 days of the fixture.
