About the County
The Gloucestershire County Netball Association (GCNA or Gloucestershire Netball) was first set up in 1956, with the aim of setting up a formal structure for netball competition within the county. We are a not-for-profit membership organisation that is affiliated to the national governing body, England Netball and to the Netball South West region.
Our aims for the county are:
- To promote and encourage the game of Netball
- To further the growth and development of Netball
- To administer Netball on behalf of England Netball and Netball South West
We are committed to:
- Creating and maintaining the safest possible environment for adults, children and young people to participate in Netball
- Ensuring the maximum enjoyment of Netball for all players, coaches, officials, volunteers and other participants
We are administered by a Management Group, assisted in day-to-day activities by several Working Groups.
