Some very sad news about one of the stalwarts of our netball community, Val Sanders (Hale) who passed away recently. Many of you will remember her and all the work she has done for GCNA since the 1970s. She had originally been a member of Chelt Civil Service (now Challengers), then Nomads, and had held most roles on the committee at some point. She held the important role of county treasurer since 2007, and played a key role in guiding us through the Covid lockdowns, only relinquishing the role in 2021 due to failing health.
