Our first officiating assessments since lockdown took place at the weekend. After attending the online courses followed by a series of recent mentoring sessions, we are pleased to announce that 8 umpires were successful.
On the first step of their umpiring journey, Eve Knowles Jackson, Cariad Comfort, Alix Harvey and Sarah Grundy gained their INTO Officiating Award.
Alice Coleman, Phoebe Allsopp, Leigh Trigg and Nicola Parry are now C Award umpires.
Claire Hammond, Gloucestershire Netball's Officiating Lead, congratulated all the umpires:
"It has been a long time since we were able to do any assessments, and all umpires have worked hard to get to this stage. We look forward to seeing these umpires on court and aspiring to the next level of award. I'd also like to thank our mentoring and assessment team for giving up their time."
